Circular Saw & Worm Drive Saws Reviews & How-To Guides

A circular saw (sidewinder) is power-saw using a blade to cut material using a rotary motion spinning around an arbor. Many trades consider this to be an essential tool in their equipment list. A worm-drive saw on the other hand is very similar. It has a threaded worm in front of the motor that turns gears, which turn a blade placed at the front of the motor. It cuts with much greater torque than a sidewinder circular saw.
